MISSION IMPOSSIBLE - BLEACHING A WIG

Hi again.

Cosplayers all over the forums have been wondering how to bleach a wig. Most of them just end up to the conclusion: Mission impossible.

Our conclusion is:

The idea of bleaching a wig was actually Poke's idea. Firstly, she was supposed to see if it's
possible to dye your hair with crayons as many web pages said. Eventually, she ended up trying it first with a wig - just to make sure that it doesn't kill her hair, and that's how she found out this awesome technique!

What do you need:

- A wig (obviously)
- Soft oil pastel crayons (can be found from art stores) The color should be a lot lighter version of the color you are willing to achieve (this depends of a wig)
- Hairbrush
- Rubber gloves (unless you want to end up looking like an avatar as I did)
- Spray bottle with water inside
- TIME and PATIENCE

- Hairspray

1. Brush your wig and separate the parts you are going to dye
2. Spray a little water on your wig
3. Take a part of the hair and go through it with a crayon. Don't brush to the wrong direction of the hair!

4. Brush it once
5. Repeat 'till you have the right color
6. Wait until it is completely dried (or use a blow dryer if you're impatient)
7. Spray all over with hairspray, spray from a distance of min. 40cm!

You should have something like this:

I was too lazy to finish it properly since I was just testing:D

Our wig was originally black so bleaching it was very hard. I can guarantee that this will work better if you have a wig that only needs to be lightened a few shades:D This also works for lighter wigs in case you need to dye them darker but I'd suggest using a more permanent way of dying...

The problem of this technique is the fact that this isn't permanent but at least you'll have a lighter wig! If you have a long wig that needs to be bleached all over I suggest getting a new one since this is probably just going to take 5 hours from you:D

The color can also be washed off with shampoo and water if needed.

We are still running some experiments with this technique and are going to update any development here!

P.S We also found another way of dying wigs instead of copics but experiments on our lab are still on so back to the lab->

OH THOSE TIMES

Hello again, our beloved readers!

Today I'm gonna take you to the very roots of our cosplay hobby. Officially, we might have started in 2008 but the hobby was with us all along!

See for yourself!

At first I would like to represent this masterpiece of ours, Poke's Chilly Chick and my Bunny kigurumi!

Our next project was classy, but simple: NINJAS!

And as you might know, Momo loves wig styling. Apparently I started early! See these awesome hairdos!

Next up, we wanted to go with something classy, and came up with these anime school girl outfits. ('dem pants!)
You think I should take part to EuroCosplay with this?..Bahh, all the others would go running scared (Check out that prop!)
As you know, I've cosplayed Voldemort and making the mask was quite a challenge. However, as you see, Poke knew all along how to make it easily:(
Apparently, we found a new favorite serie: Animal planet and decided to cosplay tiger and panther.
Here's Momo with yellow pajama costume!
Space princesses are always nice ones to cosplay. As you see, prop making has always been fun.
When we got tired with cosplaying animals, we decided to go with k-pop bands! This is Su-reepu-over! Don't you just love my room?:D (it's not that pink anymore..)

Here you go! Hope you didn't die of laughter:D

Sincerely,

Momo

P.S Poke has no idea I posted these...*pfftfhfh*

GREETINGS FROM LITHUANIA!

Hello our precious readers!

I wish I had something cosplay related but I don't :(

So, I'm gonna tell you about our trip to Lithuania!!

On the 26th of February we took off with ryanairs (almost) private jet and flew aaall the way to Lithuania!
The first night consisted of tired laughters, unwanted porn channels and memes. This picture tells enough of our first night I guess?

So pretty.

So, after surviving our first night at our luxury hotel we took a Troleybus and traveled to the center of the Kaunas city, Laisves aleja. At first we needed some breakfast so we crashed into this La Crepe cafeteria and ate our first supercheap meal! Here's a photo of us (though it's taken later)

Like a boss - Hugo Boss

Then we started to look for our hotel that was located at the Laisves aleja. The location was just fine but the looks could have been a liittle better...

Here's Hisi trying to open our hotel's door:
Nah, just kidding. For real out hotel was nice little apartment with a huge bed! (and a free wi-fi for 9gag, memebase and memejelly!). After settling down we grabbed our broomsticks and flew back to Hogwarts:

...wait. This isn't Hogwarts! This is a place that cosplayers have found! See it yourself!

Poke's DAFUQ?! face when she found this beautiful graffiti:D

After finding the proof that cosplayers also existed in Kaunas we decided to run away and ended up in North Pole...

AAARGH! IT'S A POLAR BEAR! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!

SO WE RAN RAPIDLY UNTIL WE HAD TO STOP SINCE WE FACED THE OCEAN! Suddenly, a wild talking seal appeared and told us she could lead us the way back to Kaunas!
Unfortunately Poke told her that she's fat and she got mad and used her magic wand to get us away. We felt the warm breeze and looked around 'till we saw this snake! Momo was screaming and Poke was trying to play snake with it.

Suddenly Hisi, who had been hiding in the bushes yelled: "I CAN SEE PUMBAAAAA!". Momo and Poke shared the suspicious look until they also noticed Pumba.

As we were watching as Pumba scrubbed himself on a tree we heard a big ROARRRR! We looked behind us and saw this:

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! and we ran until we came up with something faster...CAMELS!

So, we were riding our camels until they just wildly disappeared. We were sitting on the ground, wondering dafuq just happened. Then we heard it...drum'n'base!

Party Rock was calling our names so we went to see him and took this cool photo!

That was the story this time and yes, everything said in here is totally, definitely and absolutely true and talking seals exist.

Sincerely,

Momo, still scared of that snake
